Chandler Morgan, Action News Jax

Chandler Morgan is an Emmy award-winning weekday morning anchor for Action News Jax. She joined the news team in 2021 and loves calling Jacksonville home! Since joining the team, Chandler has become involved in several community organizations, including Make-A-Wish, The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund, and Field of Dreams in St. Johns County. Chandler was voted Best TV Anchor in 2023 through the Folio Weekly Best of Jax Awards. If you spot a new restaurant around town, let Chandler know; she might end up featuring it in her ‘Around Jax’ segment. Previously, Chandler was an anchor and reporter in Charlotte, North Carolina. There, she won an Emmy and earned several Emmy nominations for her work. Some of her stories nominated include her coverage of the deadly mass shooting on the UNC Charlotte campus and local deputies who gave the ultimate sacrifice to protect the community. Chandler has also won several Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas awards. Before working in Charlotte, Chandler was an anchor and reporter in Columbus, Georgia. Chandler also interned at Action News Jax sister station, WSB-TV, in Atlanta. A fun fact about Chandler; she is a Disney mega fan! If you have a Disney World fun fact, send it her way!
