Man arrested after trying to run over parked JSO patrol car

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Officers at the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Sub Station 4 heard a noise outside their building late Saturday evening and wandered outside to see a Jeep ramming into a parked JSO patrol car.

The sheriff’s office said the driver of the jeep was acting erratic, spinning his tires and trying to drive over the parked police car. Officers quickly pinned the Jeep in place with two other police cars and demanded the driver get out of the vehicle.
