New protocols in place for Jags fans when heading to games for the 2020 season

Jacksonville, FL. — Football games and events at TIAA Bank Field will look a lot different for fans and attendees.

The stadium is only opening up at 25% capacity which is about 16,800 people.

You can go online and buy your tickets in “pods” of 1 to 8.

Seats in between groups will be blocked off so people can maintain six feet of distance between one another.

Action News Jax reporter, Meghan Moriarty, got a behind the scenes look highlighting what fans can expect at their next Jaguars game.

Everything will now be touchless and cashless, so make sure your ticket is on your phone and you bring your credit card.

Every other parking space will be blocked off in parking lots, and tailgating is discouraged.

When entering the stadium, you will scan your own ticket.

Staff will be in the area to make sure people follow the rules.

Masks are to be worn at all times, even when you’re in your seat.

The only exception is when you are actively eating something.

The Jags increased their staff by 157% to keep up with sanitation, disinfecting, and monitor fans and make sure they comply with the rules in place.

Additionally, 175 new hand sanitizer stations have been installed throughout the stadium and there are social distancing markers near the bathroom.

The Jags have also created an app where you can order food and drinks from your seat.

Staff ask that you only attend a game if you feel 100%.

If you’re not feeling well, they ask you to stay home.
