JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Wednesday would have been the sixth birthday of a Jacksonville girl found dead in Alabama.
The body of Taylor Williams was found in November, more than a week after her mother reported her missing from their Brentwood home.
Police have not yet said how Taylor died, but they believe she could have been missing for weeks, or even months, before her mother reported her missing.
Taylor’s mother, Brianna Williams, is currently in the Duval County Jail. She is charged with child neglect and lying to police in connection with Taylor’s disappearance.
She is not currently facing any charges in connection with Taylor’s death.
Brianna Williams is expected back in court March 3.
