  • Construction of a roundabout-style traffic configuration at the intersection of Edgewood Avenue and Plymouth Street for improved traffic flow.
  • Installation of bike lanes, shared use lane markings, mid-block crossings and traffic signal, sidewalk and signage upgrades.
  • Lighting upgrades including new luminaires for streetlights and under-deck lighting at the U.S. 17 overpass.

Traffic will be maintained in accordance with FDOT design standards throughout the project. No lane closures will be permitted on Edgewood Avenue from Roosevelt Boulevard (U.S. 17) to Mayflower Street between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. From Mayflower Street north to Lenox Avenue and over to Cassat Avenue, one lane in either direction will be open at all times.
