Around 11:30 a.m., the Hyundai, driven by a 38-year-old Jacksonville woman, crossed the intersection of County Road 225 and State Road 16 where the Kenworth was traveling westbound, according to FHP.

The Hyundai and the Kenworth collided, causing the Kenworth to enter a nearby Shell gas station and crash into the Freightliner.

The driver of the Freightliner was not inside and was unloading the trailer, FHP says. They were uninjured.

The woman was taken to the hospital where she died from her injuries. An 8-year-old child in the Hyundai was also injured but is expected to recover.

The driver of the Kenworth received minor injuries.
