Florida family scams thousands into drinking toxic bleach to cure COVID-19

A Florida family has been charged by a federal jury in Miami for selling tens of thousands of bottles of “Miracle Mineral Solution,” a concoction with highly toxic bleach inside.

Mark Grenon and his three adult sons Johnathan, Jordan and Joseph produced and sold the product promising a cure to COVID-19 and other illnesses.

The product includes the same bleach used for industrial water treatment.

The Grenons are accused of using the Genesis II Church of Health and Healing, or “Genesis,” an entity that they founded, to sell “Miracle Mineral Solution” without government interference.

Genesis required specifically priced donations for “Miracle Mineral Solution” and the Grenons made more than $1 million this way.

A search warrant revealed that the product and items used for its distribution were made in the family’s backyard.

The Grenons had received a warning before the indictment to stop selling “Miracle Mineral Solution” but the family refused.

The Grenons have been charged with conspiracy to commit fraud and two counts of criminal contempt.
