Help JFRD welcome their newest members

JACKSONVILLE, Fla — K9s for Warriors and the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department introduce new therapy dogs to assist first responders.

Through K9s For Warriors’ Station Dog Program, these K9s join JFRD’s Peer Support Team to help relieve stressful and lingering effects firefighters and first responders frequently encounter after difficult calls.

Gunner and Cash are two American Kennel Club-recognized therapy dogs and will be the 15th and 16th dogs to be donated to first responders through the non-profit’s program.

Gunner will join station #52 near Collins and Blanding and Cash will join station #71 serving the Jacksonville Beach area.
