JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville based company is exploring new ways to attract millennial employees.
Danny Thomson said work isn't about taking home a paycheck.
He said, "It's an attitude. It's a culture."
He said it's why he works for Champion Brands.
"It's about balance, but while we're here we sell beverages, so we sell experiences. It's really about having fun," said Thomson.
Company President Earl Benton said he knows that's true for most of their millennial employees.
"They want to feel like they're there for the future. They want it to be laidback. There are other things that they're interested in, " Benton said.

Champion Brands' new 36,000 square-foot expansion is aimed at the generation.
It is outfitted with a gym, biergarten outdoor space, solar panels and a Red Bull wing for its 300 employees.
According to Benton, the more they're able to retain, the quicker the company can grow and add jobs to Jacksonville's workforce.
He said, "As more people move in, our business goes up – we need more employees."
Thomson told Action News Jax it's the type of environment he plans to stay in as long as possible.
Thomson said, "We have a bar – I mean for get about it – we can have pints after work, there's a pingpong table. I couldn't ask for more."
