JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police are searching for whoever shot three people during a block party Saturday.
The shooting on West 22nd Street was the second triple shooting in Jacksonville in three days.

A cab driver dropping off a customer described to Action News Jax a chaotic scene.
“Just terrifying, you know? Very terrifying,” he said.
All three men who were hurt are expected to survive.
According to Jacksonville Sheriff's Office data, more than 100 people have been killed in Jacksonville so far this year.

That includes homicides not classified as murder and homicides pending classification.
“If you make the kids better, the community will be better,” Byron Robinson said.
On Sunday, Robinson’s organization, Better Dads Society, gave out books and 125 backpacks for kids.

He said he believes the key to stopping the violence is our youth.
Three times a month, he and other men spend time reading and connecting with children at local libraries.

“There’s so much negativity in the world around younger kids,” he said. “I think if you give them a positive scene, they’ll adapt to a positive situation, they’ll come up with a positive situation.”
Families told Action News Jax kids need those positive influences now more than ever.
“Positivity for them is so good because with the things going on in this world now, it's just, like, push all the negativity out the way,” Kimberly Fuller said.
