JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE: According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, a man is dead following an incident early Wednesday morning.
Officers say a man that was shot drove himself to the emergency room where he died of his injuries around 1:15 a.m. Police believe two young children and a woman were in the car with him.
At this time, JSO says it is too early in the investigation to know if the man was shot in the car.
If you may have witnessed anything, you are asked to call police.

There was a heavy police presence as detectives removed items from the complex and took pictures of the parking lot.
