JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying a man who was found dead in a wooded area on the Northside in April.

Police released a sketch of the man, showing what he may have looked like prior to his death.

JSO said on Friday, April 12, officers responded to the 9800 block of Interstate Center Drive to reports of a person found dead.
Officers found the man in a wooded area "in the late stages of decomposition," JSO said in a news release.
No foul play is suspected in the man's death, investigators have determined.
The man is described as a white male 33 to 42 years old and was 5 feet 9 inches tall. His hair was black and he was possibly a transient, police said.
