“We are excited to do this entire concert series,” Haley Tinkle, Director of Events with Downtown Vision said.
And a big crowd is anticipated for tonight’s event.
“We are expecting around 10,000,” Tinkle said.
Tinkle explained that the event for tonight is free and open to the public, and will be held every Thursday for the remainder of April.
She even said each week different artists will come and perform in the Bold City.

“Tonight, we have Cold War Kids, which is an awesome alternative group,” Tinkle told Action News Jax. “Next week we have Shaggy, our third week we have Group Love and in our last show, we have a country act Chris Lane.”
Joneishia Johnson and Kiara Simmons, who are sisters and owners of Two Sisters and a Deviled Crab, explained that food trucks will be available for those attending.
They both say they’ve only had their business for about a year now and adding an event like this is always helpful to their business. They said that you can meet so many people, all potential customers.
“It’s going to help grow our brand even if people don’t try our food tonight which they should because it’s amazing just seeing our brand in this atmosphere people may follow us on all of our socials,” Simmons said.
