Man says he was shot multiple times during a Jacksonville robbery

One man was hospitalized after a reported shooting in Jacksonville Thursday night, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

At approximately 11:10 p.m., JSO officers were dispatched to the 6800 block of Old Kings Road due to a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a Hispanic man who was shot multiple times. The man told police he was shot during a robbery.

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department came to the scene and took him to the hospital. Authorities said he has non-life threatening injuries.

Robbery detectives are investigating. The identity of the shooting victim is unknown at this time.
