A man is serious condition at an area hospital after Jacksonville police said he was shot in the stomach while trying to rob a local game room early Thursday morning.
Police responded to Cyber Spot game room located at 7900 103rd Street at 12:08 a.m. after hearing a report of a shooting.

When police arrived, they found a man who was shot in the stomach.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, the man was shot by a security guard whom the suspect pepper sprayed while attesting to rob the business.
He was taken to the hospital and in undergoing surgery.
Authorities said they have another suspect in custody -- a woman -- and is being questioned by detectives.
