ORANGE PARK, Fla. — A man is expected to survive after being shot at a pool hall in Orange Park.
According to the Orange Park Police Department, the shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at Park Avenue Billiards, located off Highway 17. When police arrived, they did not locate a victim. It was later learned that an adult victim had been taken to Orange Park Medical Center with a gunshot wound.
Authorities believe the shooting was isolated and stemmed from an argument that took place inside the pool hall.
OPPD spokesperson Sgt. Cody Monroe told Action News Jax on Wednesday the investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
