National Parks reopen after government shutdown

Castillo de San Marcos National Monument and Fort Matanzas National Monument will both reopen Monday, Jan. 28.

According to the parks, employees are happy to be back at work and service the American people and welcoming visitors to these national parks.

The park officials say, starting Monday Castillo de San Marcos National Monument will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fort Matanzas will be open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with the last ferry at 4:30 p.m.
