JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A pedestrian in Jacksonville is in the hospital after being hit by a pickup truck on Lenox Avenue Friday, according to police.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said at approximately 6:35 a.m., a 44-year-old man was struck while crossing the street to get to work.
The man was taken to UF Health with serious injuries.
JSO said the pickup truck driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating.
