Police evacuated a high-rise building in San Marco on Sunday night after reports of a suspicious package.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office released an alert about the possible suspicious package at 7:42 p.m. at the Le Baron Condominiums.
The package was reportedly on the ninth floor of the high-rise. The bomb squad determined the package was not a threat.
Residents are allowed to go back to their homes.
Police said the Homeowners Association President for the building received a package Sunday in the mail.
The president contacted the return address was the one of someone he is currently in a lawsuit with. The president believed the package was suspicious and contacted police, JSO said.
Police said the man has an upcoming court date regarding the lawsuit.

Police evacuated condominium residents from the 42 units as well patients at the Ronald McDonald House, which is near the building.
The residents have been taken to a hotel for the night.
