Last year's festival was held in Jacksonville, but this year, festival director Eugenio Maslowski, decided to move the event to St. Augustine, which is rich in Spanish-American culture.

"If we are really bringing the Hispanic culture, the Hispanic heritage to the United States, we have to start in the same place where the United States started to which is St. Augustine," said Maslowski.

The mayor of St. Augustine's sister city, Avilés, Spain, will be in attendance as well as the Cultural Council of Menorca.

Individual film tickets start at $10.
