“Jacksonville is a wonderful community, and we are surrounded by great families and friends who are excited to have a new option for breakfast and lunch. we are delighted to see that our guests continue to visit our restaurant and their smiles are a treat for our staff”, said owner and operator Shawn Mccurdy in a press release. “Scramblers is so much more than your standard breakfast spot. our guests are wowed by our fresh ingredients, hearty portions, unique recipes, and even some “bottomless” options.”

For a fast and fresh lunch, you now can try a new spot in Brooklyn, called ‘Plenti’.

Plenti owner, Dean Nixon, says they are all about fast and fresh. Think poke bowls and original sauces. We took a look in the kitchen and chatted with Nixon, who is a Jacksonville native.

“I wanted to create something I knew I could eat, every single day,” says Nixon. “If youre someone that doesn’t like raw fish, we have simple bowls that are fresh and still taste delicious, and we take it a step further with our sauces,” Nixon suggested trying the banging shrimp or the ‘avo-cali’ bowl.

“For people that are hesitant about raw fish, we get that and we understand that. so we actually have market bowls that have cooked proteins in them, like chicken, market fish. we also do salads and smoothies. so we can be a one stop shop for a lot of people at different times of the day,” says Nixon.
