Storm surge impacts could be historic

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Storm Surge Warning was issued Thursday for our entire coast.

A new potential storm surge model data was released, and it would the worst case scenario at high tide.

Some of the lowest barrier islands will be completely overtopped with large battering wave and life-threatening flooding, according to the First Alert Weather Team.
