Teen killed at westside park as fight escalates to gunfire

Jacksonville, Fl — A teen boy is gunned down at a westside park as a fight escalates to gunfire.

Jacksonville police were called to West Beaver Street near Woodstock Park, around 8:30 pm Tuesday. They say a fight escalated in gunfire. They found a teenager, around 16 to 18, suffering from a gunshot wound. He later died.

Witnesses told police several young black males ran from the area immediately after the shooting.
