ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — The water results are in for a local community pool.
The Nocatee Splash Water Park sent out its water samples to an independent lab, and on Friday, they all came back clear. Action News Jax first told you Wednesday some mothers living in Nocatee were concerned their children's illnesses were related to the water park.

On Friday, the water park received negative results for both cryptosporidium and giardia, common parasites found in water. Action News Jax spoke with Nocatee mom Holly Simoneau on Friday, and she says these are the results she was hoping for.
On Wednesday, Simoneau told Action News Jax that a local moms' Facebook group had 78 reports of kids getting sick after visiting the pool just in the matter of three days.

In response to that, Nocatee officials sanitized the entire park, from the handrails to the pool deck, and sent in water tests.
Now with the official green light, Simoneau says, "This experience will help educate people about the pool safety and stand as a huge reminder that if you or your kid is sick or have recently recovered from an illness, it's best to avoid the pool."
Action News Jax Investigates pulled inspection reports for this water park for the last two years, and there were no violations. The most recent inspection happened May 18.
