Unidentified man killed in shooting on Atlantic Blvd.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported that it responded to reports of a shooting Saturday night in the parking lot of a Crafty Crab at 9840 Atlantic Blvd.

At approximately 8 p.m., patrol officers located an unidentified man suffering from a gunshot wound. Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department transported the individual to HCA Florida Memorial Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

A witness said he observed the victim pulling into the parking lot from Atlantic Blvd., getting out of the car and asking him for help because he had been shot.

Initial investigation reveals that the victim was driving in the 8600 block of the Arlington Exwy when an unknown suspect shot multiple times into his car.
