FHP: Woman airlifted to hospital after rollover crash on I-95

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — A woman from St. Petersburg is in critical condition following a crash on I-95 on Tuesday evening.

The 31-year-old was traveling south in St. Johns County when she lost control of her SUV, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The SUV struck a guardrail and then rolled multiple times before stopping in the southbound lane.

The woman was ejected from the vehicle, FHP says. She was taken to the hospital via helicopter.

The crash caused major delays on I-95 starting around 5:40 p.m.
