Woman dies from motorcycle crash in Putnam County, FHP says

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. — On Feb. 24 at 7:30 p.m., a woman dies from a fatal motorcycle crash.

Two motorcycles were traveling north on County Road 309 when a van was traveling south.

The van attempted to turn left into a gas station when the female motorcyclist collided into the passengers side of the van.

The other motorcyclist swerved to avoid the collision with the first motorcycle and ended up overturning on its side.

The female motorcyclist was airlifted to HCA Orange Park Medical Center, where she was, later, pronounced deceased.

According to FHP the female motorcyclist was not wearing helmet at the time of the crash.
