Man shot while walking in Moncrief

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a shooting around 3:21 pm Friday in the 2400 block of Maynard Street.

Upon arrival they found an adult male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in life-threatening condition.

JSO found out that two or three unknown men approached the victim and began to shoot him.

These men got into an older gray or cream-colored Chevrolet Impala with dark tinted windows.

A motive for the shooting has not been established. Detectives with JSO are investigating the case for further details.
