JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- — One person is dead after a traffic stop on Jacksonville’s westside.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says 4 officers fired at the person late Tuesday night.
JSO has identified the individual as Devon Tillman Gregory an 18 year old, black/male.
It started with a traffic stop on San Juan Avenue near Cassat Avenue.
JSO says Gregory became agitated and they tried to de-escalate the situation.
Gregory ended up getting out of the vehicle.
Officers ended up firing their guns at him, killing him.

Action News Jax checked the JSO transparency page and found this is the 15th officer-involved shooting in 2019.
That surpasses 2019 and 2018 numbers.
