Another heat wave returns for first days of summer

Jacksonville, Fl — The last day of Spring will feel seasonal with mostly to partly sunny skies and temperatures around 90.

Action News Jax Meteorologist Alyssa Pejic is tracking east winds off the Atlantic, which will keep the beaches in the 80s. We could see a stray shower around and south of St. Augustine.

We begin another stretch of hot weather on Tuesday, the first day of Summer. Highs will reach the lower 90s.

The upper 90s will arrive Wednesday and Thursday with some inland neighborhoods getting close, if not touching, the century mark.

An isolated inland shower or storm is possible Thursday. Most spots will stay dry. Scattered showers and storms will return Friday and into the weekend.

TROPICS: No areas of concern.
