The Clay County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man was shot at Parkland at Orange Park Apartment Homes on Wells Road in Orange Park on Friday night.
The shooting happened just before 9 p.m., CCSO said.

Investigators could be seen placing numerous evidence markers on the ground.
The man was taken to Orange Park Medical Center for surgery. CCSO said he was "critical but stable."
