The Department of Family and Community Engagement is partnering with the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp baseball team for a teacher pep rally.
In addition to a free ticket for each educator to Wednesday's Jumbo Shrimp game, there will be giveaways and special recognitions.
School Board Chairwoman Paula D. Wright will be throwing the first pitch, and Superintendent Dr. Diana Greene will join the team managers on the field for their ceremonial roster exchange prior to the start of the game.
The game will begin at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.
Each teacher is asked to submit their ticket registration here by 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7.
