JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is looking for suspects in a shooting that left a 12-year-old boy paralyzed Saturday night.
According to police, they received a call for shots fired into a home on the1900 block of College Circle South.
When police arrived, they located two people suffering from gunshot wounds.
The sheriff’s office says that a 12-year-old boy was laying in his bed when he was struck by a bullet. As a result of his injuries, he is paralyzed and may never be able to walk again, according to investigators.
Police are now asking anyone that lives in the area to review surveillance video for possible information that can help in the investigation.
