JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Hair salons and barbershops were able to reopen today, but with strict guidelines.
Action News Jax reporter Dani Bozzini spoke with one local hairstylist as she did one of her first clients’ hair in seven weeks.
The new normal may look a lot different, but she says the sanitizing and disinfecting isn’t anything new.
“As a cosmetologist, we have to sanitize and sterilize anyways -- so sanitizers and gloves. And with some treatments that I do, I was already wearing a mask for like 30 minutes during the process.”
