JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to a deadly motorcycle crash at Old Middleburg Road South and Maynard Place around 1:53 a.m. Sunday.
When officers arrived, they found a wrecked motorcycle and the driver unresponsive on the ground, police say.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of the motorcycle lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons, crash and died.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash and the Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate.
