JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE 6:45 p.m.: The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of a woman who allegedly stabbed a man on St. Johns Bluff early Sunday morning
Celaine Cuartero was arrested and charged with second degree murder.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported stabbing on the 200 block of N. St. Johns Bluff Road around 3 a.m. Sunday.
When police arrived, they found a man in his early 40s with a stab wound, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
He was transported to a nearby hospital, but died from his injuries during surgery, police say.

A person of interest has been taken into custody and is currently being interviewed by detectives. Detectives are also speaking with witnesses and attempting to review surveillance video. At this time, detectives are trying to determine what led to the stabbing.
