Nursing homes prepare for visitors after Gov. DeSantis’ announcement

Nursing home visitation guidelines

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The governor made his announcement about nursing homes being allowed to open for visitors on Tuesday. However, it’s up to each facility to implement the new procedures and it will take several days before some are ready.

Jax Nursing and Rehab said it will be ready for visitors on September 11. At that time, they will contact each individual facility to set up appointments.
