Fiance of Jacksonville man killed: "I watched it all happen"

Leon Bennett, 23, was shot and killed in June in Jacksonville Beach and no one has been charged in his murder.

Police say Shaquille Walker and Jose Lebron are persons of interest in Bennett's murder.

The two were booked into jail on unrelated charges, after extradition from Hawaii.

On Tuesday, a judge granted them bond.

Bennett’s fiancé Lakea Pringle says she was there when the shooting happened.

“I watched it all happen, and the first thing that went through my mind when that car pulled up on us was, 'Just please, just don't, this is scary like a movie, this can’t happen,' and then it happened.”

Lakea and Bennett share two young children together; she says she never imagined the man she planned to marry would be taken from her.

“It's literally like you're here one day, and gone the next second, like you just never know what happens in life.”

Walker and Lebron are scheduled to be back in court Aug. 29.
