First southern-style Italian restaurant opens in Orange Park

ORANGE PARK, Fla. — Valentina’s Italian Bistro, a 121 Financial Credit Union supported project, is now open on 330 College Drive.

This restaurant is owned and operated by Christopher Licata, a retired U.S. Navy veteran and a first-generation Italian American.

The food it serves is authentic Italian cuisine and handmade pastries.

This restaurant can seat to 85 guests and is located across from Thrasher-Horne Center.

This was made possible with financial support from the U.S. Small Business Administration and Jacksonville-based 121 Financial Credit Union, which provided funding to purchase the building, major equipment and furnishings, and conduct interior renovations.

Valentina’s Italian Bistro serves lunch and dinner entrees for $20-$25 per person and will be available for order and delivery on most major food delivery services. At full capacity, the restaurant anticipates employing approximately 20 full- and part-time employees.
