ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. — An apartment fire injures one and displaces 32 people Tuesday in Gainesville.
Gainesville Fire Rescue responded to the Sunbay Apartments on 12th Street where firefighters found smoke coming from all six of the second floor apartments. The crews got all of the residents out quickly and extinguished the fire from three apartments.
One person was injured in the fire and is in stable condition at a hospital.
GFR said the Red Cross provided shelter and provided food vouchers for the displaced resident.
