Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 2016

JACKSONVILLE, Fl. — Making Strides Against Breast Cancer will be held Saturday, October 22 at Hemming Plaza. The event is a celebration and fundraiser for the fight against breast cancer.

Stop by the Action News Jax Family Focus booth to pick up some pink gear before the walk. Action News Jax anchor Dawn Lopez will be the master of ceremonies, leading workouts and announcing other festivities throughout the morning.

Because of Hurricane Matthew, the Making Strides of Clay County walk will be joining the Jacksonville walk. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the walk will start at 9 a.m. There will be three stages of entertainment and a Kids Zone with activities.

There will be a special survivor check-in area and a survivor reception from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with brunch and activities.
