Approximately 30 pounds of marijuana washed ashore Thursday morning in Ponte Vedra Beach, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.
A citizen walking along the beach came across the package and notified law enforcement.
SJSO is working to find out where it came from before destroying it.
