The Conch House is getting ready to bring back Reggae Sunday after a massive brawl broke out last year.
Last month, we told you two bouncers were charged for the fight that broke out Memorial Day Weekend.
A flyer posted on the Conch House Facebook page says "Reggae Sunday" is coming back starting March 6, but not everyone is happy about the comeback.
"Reggae Sunday, I understand is important, it works, keep it under control," said Paul Gomulinski.
Gomulinksi said last year’s event was anything but under control since the big brawl last Memorial Day.
“It was a wakeup call for the owners of the Conch House and definitely for the city and the residents of the neighborhood,” said St. Augustine Mayor Nancy Shaver.
Shaver said her staff met the with Conch House staff multiple times, addressing issues like fire exits and crowd control.
"All of our team has worked very closely with the Conch House, made sure and checked that all of those were in place, so I feel real comfortable the city has done its job," said Shaver.
