CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — The suspect in a police involved shooting incident is out of the hospital and in jail.
The police-involved shooting happened on June 2 on Park Avenue near Highway 17. The Clay County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of a robbery or armed robbery.
Officers shot the suspect, Jarvis Lee, during the incident. He was treated at UF Health Jacksonville.
Lee faces multiple charges including:
- Attempted murder of law enforcement officer
- Burglary of a dwelling
- Robbery-armed with a firearm or other deadly weapon
- Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill
- Burglary of an occupied dwelling
- Discharge of a weapon into an occupied vehicle
- Felon in possession of a firearm
- Burglary of a dwelling/grand theft/criminal mischief
- Burglary of a dwelling/criminal mischief $1000 or more
- Aggravated fleeing
