The Florida Lottery said Monday that Lyndon Johnson, 52, of Lake Park in Palm Beach County, claimed his $8 million share of the $16 million prize from the drawing held on Aug. 24, 2016.
Johnson chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $6,051,759.12. He declined to be photographed by Lottery officials.
Johnson bought his ticket at the Kwik Pic Food Store in Lake Park.
The retailer received a bonus commission of $40,000.
