- The executive order is aimed at helping prevent mortgage foreclosures and rental evictions for nonpayment. Right now, your landlord cannot make you leave your home without a court order.
- Incoming Senate Democratic leader Gary Farmer, a Fort Lauderdale Democrat, asked Gov. DeSantis on Monday to extend the executive order by another 45 days.
