Florida reports recording-shattering 15,300 new COVID-19 cases

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health reported a record-shattering 15,300 new COVID-19 cases Sunday bringing the state up to 269,811 total cases.

This is the highest single-day case increase since the pandemic began.

Locally, the state reported an additional 848 more cases, bringing it up to a total of 18,359 cases.

Clay: 1,508 (+105)

Columbia: 473 (+13)

Duval: 12,864 (+577)

Nassau: 524 (+42)

Putnam: 738 (+37)
