TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Hurricane Isaias is expected to make landfall Friday night along Florida’s Panhandle near the Alabama border.
Several Northwest Florida counties are issuing evacuation orders ahead of the storm.

Here are the county-by-county details from local officials:
Bay County: A voluntary evacuation order is effective immediately for all residents and visitors in Evacuation Zones A and B, as well as anyone staying in a mobile or manufactured home anywhere in the county.
Escambia County: An evacuation order for evacuation Zones A and B, effective at noon Thursday, Oct. 8. This area includes Perdido Key, Innerarity Point, Pensacola Beach and other low-lying areas. The evacuation order also includes anyone living in a mobile home or a low-lying area, regardless of your evacuation zone.
Franklin County: Implementing a mandatory evacuation starting at noon Thursday for all Barrier Islands, Alligator Point, Bald Point, low-lying areas, mobile homes, and RV parks.
Gulf County: A mandatory evacuation for RVs is in effect at Water’s Edge RV Park, Presnell’s RV Resort and Indian Pass Campground due to potential storm surge/flooding. RV owners in other low-lying or flood-prone areas are strongly encouraged to voluntarily relocate to a safer location.
Okaloosa County: Zones A and B are under mandatory evacuation beginning at noon Thursday.
Santa Rosa County: Voluntary evacuation for Zones A, B, C, and low-lying areas and mobile homes.
Taylor County: Residents in coastal areas of Taylor County are advised to voluntarily evacuate beginning Friday evening and continuing into Saturday morning. This evacuation is being issued as a precaution to help protect lives and property before conditions deteriorate.
Wakulla County: Voluntary evacuation order for Coastal Zone A, low lying areas, mobile homes, and RV parks in advance of Hurricane Isaias.
Walton County: A mandatory evacuation for Zones A, B, & C, beginning Thursday at noon Central Time, is in effect.
