JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville man was arrested Monday in connection to a shooting at a Super Bowl party in the Murray Hill neighborhood.
Police said they were called out to Plymouth Street in regard to the shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a woman and a man who had been shot.
According to a Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office police report, a suspect, identified as Shavoski Hill, 28, was seen speeding away in a car from the area. Police tried to stop the car but Hill kept driving, “recklessly," leading police on a short pursuit.
Hill later crashed the car in the 5700 block of Lenox Avenue. JSO said he tried to run but was arrested.
