EverBank Stadium gets a dramatic makeover as Jaguars prepare for temporary Orlando move

Backup quarterbacks for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Jacksonville Jaguars battled to a scoreless tie after one quarter in the two teams’ final preseason game Friday at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville.

As with previous games, the Jaguars did not begin the game with their starters. Backup QB Nick Mullens early in the first quarter looked sharp, leading his team down the field.

Mullins hit on a 34-yard pass to TE Hunter Long to bring the team near midfield, but the drive stalled and the Jags punted.

On the team’s second drive, Mullins again hooked up with Long, who was shaken up. But the team punted once again

Buccaneers backup QB Jalon Daniels, an undrafted free agent, started the game for Tampa, failing to lead scoring drives on his two possessions.
